Emily Bartram

Civil and Family Celebrant

Hello, I am Emily, a celebrant accredited by Humanists UK and I have the great privilege of creating and delivering beautiful farewell ceremonies. Good endings are so important on our journey through life and although a funeral cannot remove sadness, it can still be full of warmth and provide comfort and light.

A humanist funeral is for anyone who wants a non-religious funeral that is sincere, professional, and unique. I strongly believe that a funeral should reflect the person that has died; it should be, in essence, a true celebration of life. Each funeral I conduct is crafted having first spent time learning about a life lived and then embracing this throughout the ceremony, both in the words spoken, and in the atmosphere created. I will work alongside you and your funeral director to make sure the occasion feels right and meaningful to you and provides the most fitting of goodbyes.

Julia C Jones

UKSoC – Civil and Family Celebrant

As an accredited Funeral Celebrant, I see it as my privilege to guide families and to be a part of saying farewell to your loved one. Focusing on all their achievements, your happy
memories of them, and the love you shared….. but it is more than that, it is a reflection of love and memory, of relationships and connections.

After working in funeral care for over thirty years, I feel every funeral should be an enriching, fitting tribute and an enduring legacy.

Planning a funeral can be an emotional, and sometimes exhausting, process, and the ceremony is a vital part of that process.

I pride myself on offering a bespoke service, treating each service with the same dignity and respect as I would my own family…enabling you to say your goodbye the way you would want to.

Kit Hurstfield

Independent Funeral Celebrant

Kit Hurstfield is proud to be supporting his local community of Macclesfield and its surrounding boroughs as an independent funeral celebrant. Established in the North West in 2017 in this role, Kit tells the stories of our loved ones and shares in a heartfelt and meaningful celebration of their lives.

A wordsmith and orator, Kit weaves his narratives seamlessly to blend the memories of the dearly departed with facts about their journey through life’s adventure – often raising smiles through tears and reminding you of the thoughts you wish to remember. Compassionate and empathetic, from the initial telephone call to the actual ceremony, Kit is a warm and gentle voice guiding you each and every step of the way. Where possible, the truth and character of your loved one will be shared in the way that feels most like them. This is their story… tell it their way, and from the heart.
