Luther John Earthy died peacefully at home on 17 January. Devoted husband of 70 years to Jean and father to Jonathan, Elizabeth and Katherine, grandfather to Ben, Juliette and Hazel. John will be fondly remembered by all who knew him during his long life and career as Works Manager at AstraZeneca, Macclesfield, also at the King Edward Music Society and the Chamber of Commerce.
