On Friday, 6th December 2019 peacefully at home, Shane aged 48 years.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 9.20 a.m. on Friday 3rd January 2020 at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.

On 12th January 2020 peacefully in a local care home, Joyce aged 92 years.  The dearly loved Wife of the late Ralph, belove Mother, cherished Grandmother and a treasured Great Grandmother.  Joyce will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Tuesday, 4th February at 9.20 a.m.

On Wednesday 25th December 2019, peacefully in hospital, Pauline aged 76 years.  Beloved and loving Wife of Geoff, loving Mother of Michael and Susan, loving and devoted Grandmother of Molly, Poppy, Danielle and Freddie, Great-Grandmother of Bobby and dear Mother-in-Law to Lucy and Christopher.  Pauline will be missed greatly by all who knew her.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 12.00 noon on Tuesday 14th January 2020 at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the Stroke Association.

On Wednesday 18th December 2019, peacefully in hospital, Denys aged 93 years.  Beloved and loving Husband of the late Dorothy, loving Father of Denise and dear Father-in-Law to Andrew.  Denys will be missed greatly by all who knew him.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 1.20 p.m. on Wednesday, 8th January 2020 at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of World Horse Welfare or The Christie NHS Foundation Trust.

On Sunday 29th December 2019, peacefully in a care home in Scotland, May aged 94 years.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 1.20 p.m. on Thursday 23rd January 2020 at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Dementia UK.

 

On 14th January 2020 peacefully in a local care home, Jean aged 83 years of Bollington.  The dearly loved Wife of the late Ted, beloved Mother of Jennifer and Joanna, cherished Nanan and a treasured Great Nanan.  Jean will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St Oswald, Bollington on Tuesday, 11th February at 1.00 p.m. followed by a Private Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.

On Sunday 5th January 2020, peacefully in hospital, William aged 57 years.  Requiem Mass will be offered at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday, 30th January at St Alban's Roman Catholic Church followed by a private Service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Diabetes UK.

On 4th December 2019 peacefully at home, Andrew aged 54 years.  The dearly loved Husband of Gillian, much loved Father of Lucy and Jack and a Cherished Brother.  Andrew will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday, 6th January 2020 at 1.20 p.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the MS Society.

On 7th January 2020 peacefully in Hospital, Beryl aged 90 years.  The dearly loved Wife of the late John, beloved Mother of Mark and a loved Grandmother.  Beryl will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Macclesfield on Thursday, 23rd January 2020 at 10.00 a.m. followed by Interment in Macclesfield Cemetery.  Family flowers only, by request.

Peacefully passed away on Sunday 29th December 2019 at Belong Macclesfield, May aged 95 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Wife of the late Leslie, a much-loved Mother of Bryn and a loving Mother in Law of Claire. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. The Funeral Service will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium Chapel on Monday 27th January at 12 Noon, prior to Interment in Macclesfield Cemetery. On Monday 30th December 2019, peacefully in hospital, Ann aged 96 years.  A dearly loved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.  Ann will be missed greatly by all who knew her.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 3.20 p.m. on Wednesday, 22nd January at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Dementia UK.

On 11th January 2020 peacefully at home with his loving family, Paul aged 68 years formerly of Macclesfield.  The dearly loved Husband of Linda, beloved Father of Lisa, cherished Grandfather of Marlo and a treasured Brother.  Paul will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday, 5th February at 2.00 p.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Macmillan Cancer Support.

On Wednesday 11th December 2019, peacefully in hospital, Maurice aged 77 years.  Beloved and loving Father of Jarod and Sally and loving Husband of the late Hendrika.  Maurice will be missed greatly by all who knew him.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 2.40 p.m. on Friday, 17th January 2020 at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Peacefully on Wednesday 25th December 2019 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Bryan aged 90 years of Macclesfield. A much-loved Father of Lisa, Jonathan, David and Maria, a loving Brother of the late Marshall. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St. James, Sutton on Thursday 6th February at 12 Noon, prior to Interment in the Churchyard. Suddenly but peacefully on Thursday 9th January 2020, at her home in Macclesfield, Ray aged 76 years. The dearly loved Wife of Iain, a much-loved Mum of Jonathan, Naomi and Sara, a cherished Nana of Samuel. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium, on Friday 7th February at 2.40 pm. 31st July 1936 – 27th December 2019

Died peacefully at her home, a wonderful Wife of the late David, amazing Mum of Gillian and Deborah, Mother in Law of Ian and Andrew, a loving Nana of Kaye, Ami, Ben, Sam and Jack and their partners and a much-loved Great Nana of Joshua, Jamie and Lily. The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St. James Gawsworth on Friday 31st January at 1.00 pm, prior to a service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium at 2.40 pm. Peacefully on Sunday 29th December 2019 at Woodlands Nursing Home, John aged 83 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Husband of Barbara, a much-loved Father of Dawn, Jayne and John. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium, on Tuesday 21st January at 11.20 am. Peacefully on Sunday 5th January 2020, surrounded by his loving family at Ashmore House Farm, Rushton Spencer, Brian aged 81 years.    Beloved and loving Husband of Kathleen, loving Father of Craig, David and the late Angela, loving and devoted Grandfather of Suzanne, Christopher, Joseph and Samuel, Great-Grandfather of Charlotte, Thomas, Henry and George much loved Father-in-Law to Carolyn and Helen and a dear Brother of Joan.  Brian will be missed greatly by all who knew him.  The Funeral Service will take place at 11.00 a.m. on Saturday 25th January at New Road Methodist Church, Biddulph Moor followed by Interment in the Churchyard.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of New Road Methodist Church.

On Saturday 21st December 2019, peacefully in hospital, Maureen aged 84 years.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 1.20 p.m. on Thursday 9th January 2020 at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the British Heart Foundation or the East Cheshire Hospice.

 

 

Peacefully on Thursday 2nd January 2020, at Macclesfield District General Hospital, William (Billy / Wilfred) aged 64 years of Longnor, Buxton. The dearly loved Brother of Carol and Kevin, a loving Uncle of Emma, Sarah, Kevin and Nicky. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends. On 13th January 2020 peacefully in Hospital, Norma aged 86 years.  The dearly loved Wife of Robert, beloved Mother of Georgina, Heather and John, cherished Grandmother and a treasured Great Grandmother.  Norma will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Friday, 7th February 2020 at 11.20 a.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Cancer Research UK.

Peacefully at home on Monday, 30th December 2019, after an illness borne with much courage and dignity, Leslie Aged 92 years.  The dearly loved Husband of Rita, beloved Father of David and Mark, Loved Grandpa and a cherished Great Grandpa.  Leslie will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Committal Service will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Friday, 24th January 2020 at 12.00 noon followed by a service of thanksgiving at the Parish Church of St James the Great Gawsworth.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of The East Cheshire Hospice.

On 12th January 2020 peacefully at home, Edna aged 86 years.  The dearly loved Wife of the late Walter and a beloved Mother of Gary and Lee.  Edna will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at North Chapel Southern Cemetery, Manchester on Tuesday, 28th January at 11.15 a.m. followed by Interment in Southern Cemetery, Manchester.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Marie Curie or the East Cheshire Hospice.

On Thursday 19th December 2019, peacefully in the East Cheshire Hospice, Patricia aged 77 years.  The Funeral Service will take place at 10.00 a.m. on Monday 20th January 2020 at Macclesfield Crematorium followed by private Interment in Southern Cemetery.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.  Please pray for the repose of her soul.

Peacefully on Friday 10th January 2020, at Belong Macclesfield, Dorothy aged 99 years, of Prestbury and formerly of Bramhall. The dearly loved Wife of the late John Dacre Rigg, a much-loved Mother of Philip, Stephen and Heather. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. Peacefully on Thursday 19th December 2019 at Ashfields Residential Home, Alice aged 91 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Wife of the late Eric. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. On 27th November 2019 peacefully in Hospital, Robert aged 77 years.  Robert will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday, 8th January 2020 at 9.20 a.m.

Peacefully on Friday 27th December 2019, after a short illness at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Lilian aged 89 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Wife of the late Oswald, a much-loved Mum of Patricia, Malcolm, Janet and Graham. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium, on Wednesday 29th January at 11.20 am. On Wednesday 11th December 2019, peacefully in hospital, Alan aged 79 years.  Alan will be missed greatly by his carers and many friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 11.20 a.m. on Wednesday 22nd January 2020 at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Flowers are welcome and donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the Respiratory Ward at Macclesfield District General Hospital.

The dearly loved partner of the late Betty, a loving Father of Patricia, Judith, Chris, David and Carolyn. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends.
