Peacefully on Tuesday 23rd October 2018, at the East Cheshire Hospice, Julie aged 48 years of Macclesfield. A much-loved Daughter of Patricia and the late William, cherished Sister of David and Paul. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday 7th November at 11.20 am. Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations may be sent for the East Cheshire Hospice.

 

On Friday, 26th October 2018, Maria passed away in hospital surrounded by the love of her Family.  Beloved and loving Wife of Wendy Goldstraw, dearly loved Sister of Michael and Andrew, much loved Aunt of Rebecca, Jessica, Michael, Paul, Monica, Nicola, Bradley, Daniel and Thomas, and a dear Sister-in-Law to Barbara and Marie, Stephen and Wendy Goldstraw and a caring Daughter-in-Law of Roy and Phyllis Goldstraw.  Maria will be missed greatly by all the many people who knew her.  A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for Maria’s life will take place at 12.00 noon on Tuesday 13th November at Heaton House Farm, Rushton Spencer followed by a private service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only please.  Donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the Christie NHS Foundation Trust or the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

Peacefully in the East Cheshire Hospice on 22nd October 2018, after an illness borne with much courage and dignity, Liz Aged 38 years.  The dearly loved Wife of Greg, beloved and much loved Mother of Lily, loved Daughter, treasured Sister and cherished Daughter-in-Law.  Liz will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St. John, Lindow on Monday, 12th November at 12.30 p.m. followed by a Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.

Peacefully in The Christie Hospital on Saturday, 3rd November 2018, after an illness borne with much courage and dignity, Eric Aged 74 years.  The dearly loved Husband of Patricia, much loved Dad of Nigel, Nicola and Gill and a adored Grandad of Katie, Harvey, Thomas and Sebastian.  Eric will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Tuesday, 27th November at 10.40 a.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of The Christie.

Peacefully on Friday 2nd November 2018 at Genesis Care Home, Macclesfield, Grace aged 95 years of Congleton.

The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday 21st November at 11.20 am.

 

 

 

Peacefully on Monday 8th October 2018 at William Mather House, David Lewis Centre, Maureen aged 75 years. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all her loving family, friends and carers. On 5th November 2018 peacefully at home, Audrey aged 95 years.  The dearly loved Wife of Fredrick, beloved and much loved Mother and a cherished Grandmother.  Audrey will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Friday, 16th November at 10.00 a.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.

On 2nd November 2018 peacefully at home, Audrey aged 86 years.  The dearly loved Wife of the late John, beloved and much loved Mother of Margaret, Nicholas and David, a cherished Grandmother and a treasured Mother-in-Law.  Audrey will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St. John, Lindow on Monday, 26th November at 11.00 a.m. Followed by Interment in the Churchyard.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Alzheimer’s Society.

Peacefully on Saturday 6th October 2018, at home and in the presence of his loving family, Ian aged 77 years of Macclesfield and formerly Bollington. The dearly loved Husband of Eileen, a much-loved Dad of Peter, David and Gillian, a loving Father in Law of Jane, Vicki and Max and a cherished Grandad of Jemima, Beckie, Kean, Angus, Barnaby, Luke and Kirstie. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered, by all his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service will take place at Carisbrook Chapel, Macclesfield on Tuesday 23rd October at 1.00 pm, prior to Interment in Macclesfield Cemetery at 2.30 pm. Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations may be sent for the East Cheshire Hospice or Macmillan Nurses.

On 4th October 2018 peacefully in Hospital, Hilda aged 98 years of Macclesfield.  Went to her Heavenly Father.  The dearly loved Wife of the late Herbert, dearly loved mother of Marshall and Philip, loved Mother-in-Law of Gillian and Christine, cherished nana and great nana to Kay, Alison, Sarah, Robert, Lorna, Lucy, Matthew, Charlie, Elliott and Arabella.  Hilda will be sadly missed by all her extended family and many friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at Macclesfield Methodist Church on Monday, 22nd October at 2.00 p.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Macclesfield Methodist Church or Action for Children.

Suddenly on Sunday 4th November 2018, at his home in Rushton Spencer, Brian aged 76 years. The dearly loved Husband of Patricia, a much-loved Dad of Lee, a much respected Father in Law of Sarah and a devoted Grandpa of Adam. He will be sadly missed. The Funeral Service will take place at Christ Church, Biddulph Moor on Monday 3rd December at 12 Noon, prior to Interment in the Churchyard. Peacefully on Saturday 3rd November 2018 at Belong Macclesfield, Dorothy aged 94 years of Macclesfield and formerly Stockport. The dearly loved Wife of the late Bill, a much-loved Mum of Tony and David. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday 26th November at 1.20 pm.

Stephen aged 64 years passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday 3rd October, his illness was borne with great dignity.  Stephen beloved Husband of Julie, loving Father of Liam and Sean and a loving Grandad of Rebecca, God bless Grandad Love You.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday, 22nd October at 11.20 a.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Cancer Research.

On Thursday 25th October 2018, following a tragic accident, Terry aged 30 years.  Beloved and loving Partner of Emma, loving Father of William, much loved Son of Terence and Michaela, dear Brother of Kayleigh and Sara-Louise, dearly loved Grandson of Marjorie and Step-Brother to Chris, Tilly, Katy and John.  Terry will be missed greatly by all who knew him.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 3.20 p.m. on Thursday 15th November at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the Buxton Mountain Rescue Team, the Biddulph Youth and Community Zone or the National Association of Bikers with a Disability.

On 14th October 2018 peacefully at home, Marjorie aged 72 years of Macclesfield.  The dearly loved Mum of Karen and Andrew, Nannie to Sam and Toby, Sister of Jean and much loved friend to many. Marjorie, known as Marj to most, will be greatly missed and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends. The Funeral Service will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday 1st November at 11:20 a.m. Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made to Marjorie's much supported charity Guide Dogs for the Blind

Peacefully on Friday 26th October 2018 in Poynton, Harry aged 76 years of Poynton and formerly Hazel Grove.  The dearly loved Dad of Michelle, Nigel, Mark and partners, a cherished Pops and loving Brother.  He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered, by all his loving family and friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St. George, Poynton on Friday 16th November at 2.00 pm, prior to Interment in the Churchyard.  Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations may be sent for Francis House Hospice.

Peacefully on Sunday 14th October 2018 at Adlington Manor Care Home, Theresa aged 84 years. The dearly loved Wife of the late Leslie, a loving Mother of Lorraine and Mark. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends. On Friday 9th November 2018, peacefully in hospital, Ray aged 88 years.  Beloved and loving Husband of Margaret, loving Father of Adrian and Sarah, loving and devoted Grandfather of Samuel, Sophie, Emma, Fraser, Jennifer and Ruby and a dear Father-in-Law to Debbie and Richard.  Ray will be missed greatly by all who knew him.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 3.20 p.m. on Friday 23rd November at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the British Heart Foundation.

On 20th October 2018 peacefully in Hospital, Norman aged 83 years.  The dearly loved Husband of Jean, beloved and much loved Father and a cherished Grandfather.  Norman will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St. James the Great Gawsworth on Thursday, 8th November at 12.00 noon followed by Interment in Churchyard.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the Stroke unit at Stepping Hill Hospital.

Died peacefully on Saturday 13th October 2018 at Leighton Hospital, Dennis aged 93 years of Sutton. The dearly loved Husband of the late Hazel, a much-loved Father of Lesley and Helen. Following a Service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium, a Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will take place at Langley Methodist Church, on Wednesday 24th October at 4.15 pm. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his friends and Church family. On Thursday 1st November 2018, peacefully in a local care home, Margaret aged 91 years.  A dearly loved Sister, Aunt and Great Aunt.  Margaret will be missed greatly by all who knew her.  The Funeral Service will take place at 10.00 a.m. on Friday 23rd November at the Parish Church of St Thomas, Henbury followed by a private Service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Park Lane Residential Care Home, Congleton.

On 10th November 2018 peacefully at home, Peter aged 84 years.  The dearly loved Husband of Anne,  beloved Father of Sarah, Step-Father of Julie and Graham, a cherished Grandad of Daniel and Step-Grandad of Louise, Alexandra, George and Francesca and a treasured Father-in-Law of David.  Peter will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Friday, 30th November 2018 at 11.20 a.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Cancer Research UK.

Passed away peacefully in Macclesfield Hospital on Thursday, 27th October 2018 aged 93 years.  Devoted Husband to his late Wife Margaret, loving Father of Marjorie and Kathleen and their Families, proud Grandpa and Great-Grandpa.  Jimmy will be greatly missed by all his Family, Friends and Neighbours.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 11.20 a.m. on Thursday, 22nd November at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
