On 14th December 2018 peacefully in Hospital, George aged 73 years.  The dearly loved Father of Lucy and Sophie and a loved Grandfather.  George will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Friday, 18th January 2018 at 11.20 a.m.

On 9th December 2018 peacefully in Hospital, Margaret aged 68 years.  The dearly loved Wife of the late Stephen Michael Beavers, much loved Mother of Jay and Anna and a cherished Sister.  Margaret will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday, 24th January 2019 at 3.20 p.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Help for Heroes.

Suddenly on Saturday 5th January 2019, at Sunrise of Bramhall, Constance Ruby aged 98 years. The dearly loved Wife of the late Doug, a much-loved Mother of Margaret and Pat, loving Mother in Law of Michael and Rob. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Tuesday 29th January 2.40 pm.

Peacefully on Friday 7th December 2018 at the East Cheshire Hospice, Anne aged 85 years of Handforth. The dearly loved Wife of the late Herbert Bott, a much-loved Mother of Howard, Janet and Christine. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Friday 21st December at 11.20 am. Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations may be sent for the East Cheshire Hospice.

 

On Thursday 13th December 2018, suddenly but peacefully at home, June aged 77 years.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 9.20 a.m. on Thursday 10th January 2019 at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice or Macmillan Cancer Support.

Peacefully in the East Cheshire Hospice on Monday, 24th December 2018, from lung cancer – borne with much courage, resilience and spirit, Elaine Aged 67 years.  The dearly cherished Wife of Christopher, much loved Daughter of George Victor Smith and the late Joan Smith. Elaine was well known in the motor trade around Manchester and Stockport.  Elaine will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all her Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday, 17th January 2019 at 11.20 a.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice who cared so wonderfully for Elaine in her final days.

On Monday 31st December 2018, peacefully at home, in the presence of his loving Family and after a long illness borne with much courage and dignity, Stephen aged 69 years.  Beloved and loving Husband of Val, loving Father of Clare, Kate and Gill, loving and devoted Grandfather of Amy, Charlotte, Marcia and Eva, much loved Father-in-Law to Geoff, Simon and Jon and a dear Brother of Roger.  Stephen will be missed greatly by all who knew him.  The Funeral Service will take place at 2.00 p.m. on Friday 25th January at the Church of the Resurrection, Upton Priory followed by a private Service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the Church of the Resurrection Upton Priory or the East Cheshire Hospice@Home service.

On Monday, 3rd December 2018 peacefully in Hospital, Patricia aged 70 years.  The dearly loved Sister of Mary, Eileen, Elizabeth, Lynn, Michael, Peter, Paul, Sue and the late Kevin, Maureen, Kathleen and John and a much loved Auntie.  Pat will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Mass will take place at St Albans Catholic Church on Friday, 28th December 2018 at 10.00 a.m. followed by Interment in Macclesfield Cemetery.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the Salvation Army.

Peacefully on Friday 28th December 2018, at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Gordon aged 88 years of Bollington. The dearly partner of the late Margaret, a much-loved Father of Lesley. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered, by his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday 28th January at 12 Noon. On Thursday, 6th December 2018 peacefully in a local nursing home, Ghreta aged 91 years.  A much loved Sister and a treasured Auntie.  Ghreta will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St James the Great, Gawsworth on Tuesday, 18th December 2018 at 11.00 a.m. followed by interment in the Churchyard.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.

Suddenly on Saturday 5th January 2019, Chris aged 32 years of Macclesfield. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday 31st January at 2.40 pm.

 

On Friday 28th December 2018, peacefully in hospital, Linda aged 66 years.  Beloved and loving Wife of Derek, loving Mother of Michael, Richard, Gaynor and Robert a loving and devoted Grandmother, Mother-in-Law and Sister.  Linda will be missed greatly by all who knew her.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 2.00 p.m. on Wednesday 23rd January at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Macmillan Cancer Support.  The Family respectfully request mourners to wear smart casual clothing.

Peacefully in a local nursing home, on Sunday, 16th December 2018, Hilda Aged 89 years.  The dearly loved Wife of the late Roy, much loved Sister and a cherished Auntie.  Hilda will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday, 9th January 2019 at 10.40 a.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Alzheimer’s Research UK.

On Thursday 29th November 2018, peacefully in hospital, Barbara aged 83 years.  Loving and devoted Wife of the late Eddie, loving Mother of Charles, Clifford and Kim, dearly loved Mother-in-Law to Gail and Pete, loving and devoted Nana of Stuart, Nadine, Edward, Natalie and Carly and Great Nana of Mia, Jayden, Bobby, Leah and Noah.  Barbara will be missed greatly by all who knew her.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 2.40 p.m. on Tuesday 18th December 2018 at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Macmillan Cancer Support.

On 1st December 2018 peacefully in Hospital, Ted aged 84 years.  The dearly loved Husband of Maureen, much loved Father of Malcolm and a cherished Brother of Maurice.  Ted will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Stockport Crematorium, Rowan Chapel on Friday, 4th January 2019 at 1.45 p.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of St. Ann’s Hospice.

On 29th December 2018 peacefully at home, Sean aged 62 years.  The dearly loved Father of Elliott and Millie and a cherished Grandfather.  Sean will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St. George Poynton on Tuesday, 22nd January 2019 at 11.30 a.m. Followed by a private Interment at Highfield Cemetery.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Pancreatic Cancer Research.

On 4th January 2019 peacefully in Hospital, Joyce aged 95 years.  The dearly loved Wife of the late Ronald, much loved Mother and a cherished Grandmother.  Joyce will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Private Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium.

Peacefully on Wednesday 12th December 2018, at home in Macclesfield, Judith aged 76 years. The dearly Wife of Terry, loving Step Mum of Bernice, Paula and Stephanie. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday 7th January at 2.00 pm. Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations may be sent for Cancer Research UK and Windyway Trust.

Peacefully on Wednesday 2nd January 2019, at the East Cheshire Hospice, after a long illness fought with much courage and dignity, Mick aged 71 years of Macclesfield and formerly Bollington. A much-loved Dad of Michelle, Rachel and Jennifer. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by Lesley and all his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday 24th January at 12 Noon. Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations may be sent for East Cheshire Hospice.

 

On Saturday 1st December 2018, peacefully in a local care home, Margaret aged 92 years.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 2.00 p.m. on Thursday 20th December at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Belong Village, Macclesfield.

 

 

Suddenly but peacefully on Thursday 20th December 2018, at Park Mount Care Home, Michael aged 84 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Husband of the late Marie Quinn, also the late Barbara Quinn, a much-loved Father of Julian, Paula and Aidan. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Alban’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday 11th January 2019 at 10.30 am, prior to Interment in Macclesfield Cemetery. Peacefully on Monday 10th December 2018, Geoffrey aged 82 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Brother of Margaret. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered, by his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium Chapel on Tuesday 8th January at 12 Noon, prior to Interment in Macclesfield Cemetery at 12.45 pm. On 10th January 2019 peacefully in a local nursing home, Peggy aged 87 years.  The dearly loved Wife of the late Brian, much loved Mother of Grant and Craig and a cherished Grandmother.  Peggy will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Friday, 1st February at 10.40 a.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice or Macmillan Cancer Support.

Peacefully on Wednesday 26th December 2018, at Adlington Manor Care Home, Wendy Jacqueline aged 75 years of Poynton. The dearly loved Wife of the late Derek Salter, a much-loved Mother of Tracy and Derek. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Tuesday 15th January at 1.20 pm. On Saturday 29th December 2018, peacefully at home and in the presence of her loving Family, Anneliese aged 85 years.  Beloved and loving Wife of the late John, loving Mother of John, Eric, Linda and Susan, loving and devoted Grandmother of John, Sherry, Paul, Michael, Maria, Sarah, Richard, Sarah and Victoria, dear Mother-in-Law to Frances and Richard and much-loved Sister of Ulla and Klaus.  Anneliese will be missed greatly by all who knew her.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 11.20 a.m. on Friday 25th January 2019 at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice or Macmillan Cancer Support.

On 2nd January 2019 peacefully in a local nursing home, Richard aged 82 years.  The dearly loved Husband of the Late Millie, much loved Father and a cherished Grandfather.  Richard will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday, 23rd January 2019 at 11.20 a.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the Stroke Association.

Peacefully on Sunday 6th January 2019, at Ladydale Care Home Leek, Kathleen aged 92 years. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by her loving family. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Monday 4th February at 1.20 pm. On 7th January 2019 peacefully in a local nursing home, Mona aged 86 years.  The dearly loved Wife of William, much loved Mother of John, Martin and Nigel and a cherished Grandmother.  Mona will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service will take place at Macclesfield Methodist Church on Wednesday, 30th January 2019 at 12.15 p.m. followed by a private Committal at Macclessfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Macclesfield Methodist Church or the East Cheshire Hospice.

On Wednesday 2nd January 2019, peacefully in hospital, Almina aged 91 years.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 2.40 p.m. on Monday 28th January at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made,if so desired, in favour of the Windyway Trust.
