Ballingall.- Mary Hamilton (known as May) died peacefully on 31st October 2017, aged 94, at Brookview Care Home, Alderley Edge.  Much loved wife of Patrick, mother of Anne and James and grandmother of Helen, Isabel, Hamish, Duncan and David.  A local funeral will be held in Cheshire to be followed by a Thanksgiving service in the Spring in Seaford.  No flowers, but donations, if desired, may be sent to Calibre Audio Library via Andrew Smith Funeral Services, 82 Sunderland Street, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK11 6HN. On Friday 24th November 2017 suddenly but peacefully at home Angela aged 55 years.  The Funeral Service will take place at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday, 13th December at the Parish Church of St Michael and All Angels followed by Interment in Macclesfield Cemetery.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Cancer Research (UK).

 

 

On Wednesday 22nd November 2017, peacefully in hospital, Bill aged 80 years.  The Funeral Service will take place at 1.30 p.m. on Thursday, 14th December at St Edward The  Confessor Roman Catholic Church followed by a Service of Committal at 2.40 p.m. at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Macmillan Cancer Support.

On Sunday 26th November 2017, peacefully at home, Edna aged 72 years.  A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will take place at 12.00 noon on Monday, 18th December in the Hunting Lodge at Adlington Hall.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Misothelioma UK.

Peacefully on Saturday 25th November 2017, after a short illness at Home in Macclesfield, Eric aged 82 years. The dearly loved Husband of Susan, a much-loved Dad of Linda and John, loving Father in Law of Colin, treasured Grandpa of Emily, Lucy, Matthew, Samantha and Charlotte. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Friday 15th December at 3.20 pm. Family flowers only by request, but if desired donations may be sent for Marie Curie and the British Lung Foundation.

On Friday, 1st December 2017, peacefully in a local care home, Dorothy aged 98 years.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 10.40 a.m. on Friday, 21st December at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Belong Village Macclesfield.

On Monday 20th November 2017, peacefully in hospital, Geoff aged 79 years.  Beloved and loving Husband of the late Sandra, loving Father of Andrew and Debbie, loving and devoted Grandfather of Joe and Lucy, dearly loved Father-in-Law to Chris and dear Brother of Muriel and Graham.  Geoff will be missed greatly by all who knew him.  The Funeral Service will take place at 12.00 noon on Friday, 8th December at the Parish Church of Sutton St James followed by a private Service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.

On Wednesday 8th November 2017, peacefully in the East Cheshire Hospice, Sam aged 27 years.  Beloved and loving Son of John and Jill, loving Brother of Esther, Nathan, Anna and Matthew.  Sam will be greatly missed by all.  The Funeral Service will take place at 1.30 p.m. on Saturday, 18th November at Sutton St James Parish Church.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.  Donations may be made on the day or via www.justgiving.com/fundraising/in-memory-of-sam-burt.

On 30th October 2017, peacefully in hospital, Philip aged 64 years.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 9.20 a.m. on Wednesday, 22nd November at Macclesfield Crematorium.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Macclesfield District General Hospital.

 

 

 

Peacefully on Monday 6th November 2017, at Hollins Park Care Home Macclesfield, Kenneth aged 79 years of Poynton. The dearly loved Husband of Mary, a much-loved Father of Alison. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by his loving family and friends. On 25th October 2017 peacefully in Hospital, Marie aged 95 years of Bollington.  The dearly loved Wife of the late Harry, beloved and much loved Mother of Valerie and Lynne ,a cherished Grandmother and a treasured Great Grandmother.  Marie will be missed greatly and most fondly remembered by all her loving Family and Friends.  The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Tuesday, 14th November 2017 at 11.20 a.m.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.

Peacefully on Wednesday 15th November 2017, at her home in Bollington, Margaret aged 88 years. The much-loved Mother of Stephen, Christine, Jan and Gary. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Tuesday 5th December at 12 Noon.

 

Peacefully on Friday 3rd November 2017, at the East Cheshire Hospice, Kathleen aged 98 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Wife of the late James (Jim), a much-loved Mother of Janet and a loving Mother-In-law of David. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. The Funeral Service will take place at St. Stephen’s Church, Forest Chapel on Friday 24th November at 1.30 pm, prior to a Private Service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium. Peacefully on Monday 11th December 2017 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Terence Richard aged 85 years, of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Husband of the late Mrs. Brenda Mavis Hughes. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by his family and friends. The Funeral Service will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium, on Friday 29th December at 3.20 pm. Suddenly on Wednesday 29th November 2017, at his home in Cheadle Hulme, Derek aged 81 years. The dearly loved Husband of Mavis, a much-loved Dad of Caroline and John, a loving Father in Law of Robert and a cherished Grandad of Joachim and Beren. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday 28th December at 1.20 pm. The dearly loved Husband of Jackie, a much-loved Father of Julie and Lindsay and a treasured Grandfather. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by his loving family and friends. Died peacefully with his loving family around him, a wonderful Husband of Janet, amazing Dad of Gillian and Deborah, a lovely Father in Law of Ian and Andrew, a fantastic Grandpa of Kaye, Ami, Ben, Sam and Jack and their partners and a loving Great Grandpa of Joshua and Jamie. The Funeral Service will take place at the Parish Church of St. James Gawsworth on Monday 27th November at 1.30 pm, prior to Interment in the Churchyard. On Thursday 30th November 2017, peacefully at home, after a long illness bravely borne and in the loving care of her Family, Joan aged 88 years.  Much loved Wife of the late Eric, loving Mother of Jennifer and Lynda, Mother-in-Law to Bill and dear Grandmother of Faith and James.  Joan will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.  The Funeral Service will take place at 11.00 a.m. on Monday, 11th December at Holy Trinity Parish Church, Rainow followed by Interment in the Churchyard.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice or Holy Trinity Parish Church Rainow PCC.

Peacefully on Tuesday 21st November 2017, at Woodlands Care Home Macclesfield, Freda aged 95 years. The dearly loved Wife of the late Robert William, a much-loved Mother of Peter and Robert. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. Passed away peacefully on Saturday 9th December 2017, at the East Cheshire Hospice and after an illness borne with much courage and dignity, James aged 44 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved elder Son of Ruth Parker and John C L Parker, a loving Brother of Rebecca and Ben and a fun Uncle of William, Amy, Harry and Sophie. James will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by his loving family, friends and all who knew him. Following a service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium for close family and friends, a service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will take place at the Parish Church of St. Michael, on Friday 29th December at 11.30 am. The dearly loved Wife of the late John, a much-loved and loving Mother of Ian and Barry, Mother in Law of Judith and Joyce, Grandma of Gill and Richard and Great Grandmother of Melissa and Jessica. She will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by her loving family and friends. The dearly loved Husband of Ann, a much-loved Dad of Steven, Shaun and Suzanne, a loving Father in Law, a devoted Grandad and Great Grandad and a loved Brother of Eileen and Pauline. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends.
