On Wednesday 16th July 2025, peacefully in hospital, Peter aged 83 years. Beloved and loving Husband of Edith, loving Father of Nick, Stephen and Claire, much loved Father-in-Law to Eve and Rachel, devoted Grandfather of James, Thomas, Phoebe, Hannah, Alexander, William, Lola, Patrick, Finley and Jacob and a dear Brother of the late Anne. Peter will be missed greatly by all who knew him. The Funeral Service will take place at 11.00 a.m. on Wednesday 20th August at The Parish Church of St James the Great, Gawsworth followed by a private Service of Committal which will take place at 12.15 p.m. at Macclesfield Crematorium. Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the Macular Society and East Cheshire Eye Society (talking newspaper).
