We are opening the doors of Park Green House and inviting local families to come and meet our friendly, approachable team, explore our facilities and find out more about the care we provide.
Our Open Day is an opportunity to see first-hand the care we put into every arrangement, ask questions and discover what happens at Andrew Smith Funeral Services.
Whether you are planning ahead, would like to find out more about funeral arrangements, or simply want to meet the people who care for local families, you will be very welcome.

As an independent, family-owned funeral director, we take pride in being open and approachable. Our Open Day gives you the chance to meet the people behind our services and have an informal conversation about the things that may matter to you and your family.
Our team will be available throughout the day to offer information and guidance, you can ask questions, discuss funeral arrangements or simply find out more about what we do.

Local author, tour guide and historian Dorothy Bentley-Smith will be joining us during the Open Day to provide a fascinating insight into the history of Park Green House and Macclesfield itself.
It is a wonderful opportunity to discover more about our building, our town, and the local community that we are proud to serve.

During your visit, you will have the opportunity to take a guided tour of Park Green House, our beautiful Georgian building – including some areas that families may not normally have the opportunity to see. Opening up these spaces to the public upholds our commitment to transparency, and helps you understand the level of care and attention we provide to every family.

Everyone is Welcome
You do not need to be currently arranging a funeral to attend our Open Day, and you do not need to book or buy a ticket. Simply come along, tour our building and ask us anything you would like to know. We will be serving a complimentary cream tea throughout the day, and information will be available from Golden Charter about pre-paid funeral plans, for those who are interested in planning ahead.
