On Saturday 29^th August 2026, peacefully in hospital, Janet aged 86 years. Beloved and loving Wife of the late William, loving Mother of Colin, Fiona and Alison, much loved Mother-in-Law to Doreen, Simon and Joe, loving and devoted Grandmother of Benjamin and Tom, Great Grandmother of Amber, Freya, Reuben and Jude and a much loved Sister of Peter. Janet will be missed greatly by all who knew her. The Funeral Service will take place at 1.45 p.m. on Thursday 1^st October at Macclesfield United Reformed Church followed by a private Service of Committal which will take place at 2.45 p.m. at Macclesfield Crematorium. Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Leukaemia & Myeloma Research.

“Janet was a wonderful friend and neighbour, she was funny, bubbly and loved and enjoyed life. Her family were the most important people in her life whom she loved dearly and so proud of them all. Through her illness she always stayed positive and never moaned and now my dear friend you will be missed by everyone who knew you, ❤️ Fly high with the angels and sleep tight, I shall treasure our memories always, RIP 🙏 xx”
