On Saturday 9th March 2024, peacefully in hospital, John aged 87 years. Beloved and loving Husband of Vera, loving Father of Paul, Keith, Alan and Sue, much loved Father-in-Law to Dorothy, Michelle, Paula, and the late Graham, devoted Grandfather of Anna, Sam, Amy, Kerryanne, Josh, Ben, George, Katie, Great-Grandfather of Ella, Olivia, Felicity, Daphne, Clarissa, Nancy and Elsie and a dear Brother of Robert, the late Ken, the late Margaret and the late David. John will be missed greatly by all who knew him. The Funeral Service will take place at 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 26th March at the Parish Church of St James The Great, Gawsworth followed by a private Service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium. Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Dementia UK.
