On Tuesday 2^nd December 2025, peacefully in a local care home, Meta aged 88 years. Beloved and loving Wife of the late Derek, loving Mother of Karen, Paula and Karl, much loved Mother-in-Law to the late Gordon, Bob and Julie, devoted Grandmother of Gayle, Christopher, and Anna and Step-Grandmother to Imogen, Great-Grandmother of Aidan, Tabitha and Ethan, dearly loved Sister of Lily, John, Janet the late Ernest, the late Joan and the late Stan. Meta will be missed greatly by all who knew her. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 3.30 p.m. on Thursday 18^th December at Macclesfield Crematorium. Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the East Cheshire Hospice.
