PENNINGTON Michael Joseph Slater

On Sunday 23rd November 2025, peacefully in hospital, Michael aged 88 years. Beloved and loving Husband of Barbara, loving Father of Michael, Steven and Vicky, much loved Father-in-Law to Karen and Chris, devoted Grandfather of Jasmine, Oscar, Isaac, Phoebe, Tom, Trudi, Natalie and Lily, Great-Grandfather of Rowan and Archie and a dear Brother of Viv. Michael was the former proprietor of “Lucielle’s” ladies fashion shop and will be missed greatly by all who knew him. The Funeral Service and Committal will take place at 10.45 a.m. on Monday 29th December at Macclesfield Crematorium. Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of Parkinsons UK.

“Our sincere condolences to the Pennington family. I have such fond memories of Michael when I was working as a junior at Lucilles in Grove Street Wilmslow. He was a lovely kind man.”
