On Sunday, 23rd January 2022 peacefully in a local care home, Derek aged 93 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Husband of the late Margaret, much loved Father of John, a loving Father-in-Law of Fiona, a cherished Grandfather of Becky and Duncan and a proud great-grandfather of Finlay and Oscar. Derek will be greatly missed and warmly remembered by all his loving Family and Friends. Following a private Service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium, a Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for Derek’s life will be held at Langley Methodist Church on Tuesday, 22nd February 2022, at 2.15 p.m. Family flowers only by request, but donations if desired may be sent for Dementia UK.
