on 6th March after a short illness, aged 101 years. The much loved husband of the late Didi, long-term partner of Elliw (affectionately known as Eckers) and father of Sarah and Allan. A private family cremation in March will be followed by a memorial service at St Catherine’s Church, Birtles at 11.30am on Thursday 12th May.  Family flowers only, by request, but donations may be made, if so desired, in favour of the NSPCC.
