East Cheshire Hospice relies heavily on the generosity of our local community, charitable donations, and fundraising initiatives to sustain and expand its services.
With only 21% of their funding coming from the government, they have to raise £9,362 per day through fundraising.
The support they receive from individuals, community groups, and businesses is vital in enabling them to deliver exceptional care to those in need.
East Cheshire Hospice is a compassionate and dedicated charity committed to providing outstanding care and support to individuals facing life-limiting illnesses in the East Cheshire region.
Established to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families, the Hospice offers a range of services that promote comfort, dignity, and holistic well-being.

These services include:
A 15-bed ward where the clinical teams prioritise physical comfort and emotional needs of their patients while respecting individual wishes and preferences. The Hospice also offers planned short-term care to give respite for carers.
Hospice @Home was created in 2017 with the aim to give patients more choice and control. The service empowers people to remain at home if they wish to, by offering high-quality end-of-life care and support in the community.
The Hospice supports patients and their families throughout their journey, offering day care services in the Sunflower Centre, bereavement counselling, complementary therapies and chaplaincy services. By providing a network of care across these services, families and their loved ones are cared for every step of the way.
Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant impact.
By coming together as a community, the Hospice can provide comfort and support to individuals and families during their most challenging moments.
Whether it’s joining a sponsored walk, hosting a bake sale, or giving in memory of a loved one, your efforts will directly impact the lives of those in need.
Together, we can ensure that the Hospice continues its invaluable work.
