Park Green House
Park Green House is located on the corner of Park Green and Sunderland Street, Macclesfield, adjacent to the Memorial Gardens, in the heart of a conservation area.
The building was constructed in the 1720s, during the reign of King George II, and began its life as the private dwelling of John Ryle, a local mill owner, and his family. According to local historians Park Green House has spent much of its life, until 2006, as a doctor’s surgery. Park Green House is Grade II listed and therefore a building of special historical interest.
